We then opted for Yuzu Scallops with asparagus, chorizo and volcanic salt and some Lamb Chops which were served with red miso and lime. To start off: Padris Pepper’s these are grilled spicy peppers with salt and lemon and Green Bean Tempura with black truffle aioli, nothing special here but tasted good.
Sushi Samba Cocktails Sushi Samba Restaurant We headed to our table and had a dedicated waiter for the evening that went through the menu and made recommendations. Having heard that Sushi Samba brings Japan, Brazil and Peru together were intrigues to see what the menu had to offer. We checked into the restaurant but had a few cocktails at the bar to start off with. The restaurant itself doesn’t seat many covers, which is why you will have to make a reservation in advance. On arrival you take a glass elevator to the 38 th floor of the Heron Tower, just a slight warning the elevator is pretty fast, but once you reach floor 38 you head straight into the bar with the view of the city, the deco is vibrant, lots of chandeliers, a big lighted tree on the roof top was which looked fab.
Yes! Another double date, and this time it’s at a restaurant we have all been meaning to go for a while so after finding a suitable date and availability (thanks Toptable!)We arrived at Sushi Samba in the Heron Tower, just a few minutes’ walk from Liverpool Street station.
